Warsaw-based LOT Polish Airlines was established in 1929. It is the national carrier of Poland as well as one of the oldest airlines in the world. LOT provides scheduled passenger and cargo services to ten domestic cities and offers over 50 routes throughout Europe and to the Middle East and North America. The airline is largely owned by the Polish government accounting for more than 65%.
